Heard to this guy. He is Dr. Kumar Vishwas. Simple Awesome !

Things that irritates me !
Can you make a guess, where the company spends most of it's money for it's own employee ? Yes, you are right, its the employee salary. What's next, where is the second highest ? Any guesses ! You may or mayn't be surprise to know it's your phone bill. Normally, in a decent company, work culture demands to have one phone per person and you are free to call Local/STD. Sometimes even ISD's are allowed if you have lot to interact with your onsite customer. We misuse it, we misuse it badly. I have seen the people who use the phone for more than half of his working time(I am not working in a call center). Sometime it upset me and most of the time it irritates me. It can irritate anyone who is not using this facility and who is in near vicinity of someone who uses it.
You can't believe, I asked some people bluntly why you are using office phone so much and replies were funny:
- Boss, it is included in our CTC.
- Yaar, you are not married. You can't understand.
- Little phone work today... there today never ends.
More funny, some people have list, which all number I need to call today offcourse from office.
If you are those who use this facility must have closed this blog :) but if you are on other side, I will request you to make a check on those people. How ? Kill them :), abuse them, keep on laughing every time they call, start doing some mimicry, pass there resume to call center :). Do whatever you want to do.

Is it proud or Shame !
Weeks back, Forbes Magazine announces globe wealthiest billionaires. Nothing surprising to know that out of 10, 4 are Indians. For some it sounds like a matter of pride, but ... ? Where India stand as income per person ? I guess no where in the top 100 list. I don't know the current list but 6-7 years back, it was 1000 Rs per person per month(I guess right now it is something around 2500 per month) and in the state like Bihar it was 200 Rs per person per month(which is now, I guess 500 Rs). What to say ? Lots of questions ! Why such a big difference exist in our country only ? Rich people are growing day and night and poor people are not growing even in decades. Is it not right to question the system ? Is it not right to question ourself ? What we are doing in surrounding to remove this so called natural imbalance ? Every question has one common solution and that is education. We need to spread education as much as possible. Fortune of educated people are they can't live without money.

Offline Blogging - ScribeFire
Last week, I have attended IndiBlogger meeting in Hyderabad. Meeting was quite good though the strength was some 50-60 people. It was in Microsoft campus. MS guys also gave a presentation on Windows Live Writer in which you can do offline blogging. Like all the time, it runs only on Windows box.
Exactly the same, offline blogging idea came into my mind some 10 days back and I have posted one question
in my official blog talk. Engineers told me there are some tools that are doing exactly the same job :-|. I have start using one of it which is awesome "ScribeFire". Best part its a add-on with FireFox. So, no additional process kicking off. Browser based, platform independent - where Mozilla can run this can run. HTML support, Tagging support, Pinging support and many more. I was just looking for some export option as well, but not able to find.

Jackie Chan - Man with guts !
In last one month, I have seen almost 70 percent of Jackie Chan's movie. This guy had started his career against Bruce Lee in movie Fist of Fury. Surprising to know that his all movies with Bruce Lee was a flop, just because both use different flavor of Martial Art. Last month I have watched his major breakthrough movies "Legend of drunken Master" and "Snakes in the Eagle's Shadow". Legend of Drunker Master would I say the best action movie I have ever watched.
Jackie do most of his stunt by his own. A near to death stunt in movie Armor of God in which he got a permanent hole in his head. He went through appox. 100 major injuries. Simply a perfect man who donated half of his asset to charity upon his death. By the way, there is no insurance company that funded Jackie Chan Stunt Team.
Most of us don't watch Chinese movie because most of the time they have same thyme but I would suggest all the action lovers to watch the Chan Movies like Drunker Master (All parts), Operation Condor and many more.

Blog by environmentalist
Week back, I reached on the blog of Vinod Khosla. I remember him because he was one of the co-founders of Sun MicroSystems but more to that he is an environmentalist. He is one of the writers who write about global warming. The practical solutions of it. This blog, speaks about what are the problems with Wind Energy over Solar Energy. Talks lot about PV Technology, Carbon Emissions and many more. If you worry about our earth, read it and more ...do on it.

Call for Action...
Last week I have visited Lucknow via Delhi and so again I got a chance to visit my college. Though nothing left for me but still some temptation. I have taken so many wrong decision at my college time, don't want the new comers to repeat the same but ... I am still find myself unreachable to them. They are doing exactly the same what we did, I guess even more panic than that. Lets see ... many night still I think God give me a chance to go back in college, give me a chance to rectify my mistakes.
Anyway, an interesting discussion... our HOD asked one guy how's projects going on. He replied, nothing great, there is no CALL FOR ACTION. And everyone started laughing... good one "Call For Action". I guess, this is the way we made ourself. From college to corporate we do everything on "call for action". If there is no "call for action", give me a break, new movie in Shipra Mall. Nothing wrong in it, if we are capable enough to do things on "Call for Action", its good. But sometime, we lose quality in taking action on final call.

Tribute to the best !
After Saun Pollock, its Adam Gilchrist who decided to leave World Cricket. A man known to walk when he considered himself out, even before Umpire's decision. A outstanding cricket, a outstanding man. Many of us don't know but he is the ambassador for the charity World Vision, India.
I do play cricket and bat most of the time with left hand and for me its always be a special occasion to watch a man like Gilly. He surprise, surprise because he has the excellent capability to pick ball and that is very obvious by his pull and hook shots. See this guy against World faster bowlers like Shoaib(1999 WorldCup), he picks the ball so easily that you (at least I) can't believe. Most of the time, it surprises me how this 37 yrs old guy generated power.
Wicket-keeping record is just awesome. Wicketkeeper responsibilities are always harder one, when almost 50 percent of the bowl were stopped by wicketkeeper... when its a edge, its a throw, a left delivery, anything .. finally it comes to wicketkeepers hand.
And unlike other Australians, always calm, out of controversies. My tribute to a man who wrote the success story of Australia.

Right Feedback !
I don't how many times in our life, we are giving right feedback to people. Very likely case, we are listening to a presentation from last one hour, literally not getting any thing. Not only this, you know no one is understanding it but we all are just listening it. Listening it,because ..... we are like that. Whats wrong if I leave the hall, whats wrong if I say the presenter that stop your pathetic presentation. But we never did ! And giving a wrong impression to the presenter that you are giving some thing very fantastic.
I don't know its a Indian mentality or something else to give respect to person even if he doesn't deserve it. Some kind of fear, some kind of mentality ... but we follow this, and we follow it religiously. Give me a break man !
Filling some stupid form with lots of radio button is not the only way to give feedback, rather this is the most inefficient way to give feedback. Maybe I am little blunt in this case but say the guy, your presentation is pathetic and you too. I don't mind at all if someone will tell the same to me. Come on you are grown up, if you can't make a good presentation, if you can't make audiences lively, you don't have any right to speak near hundreds and thousands of audience.

Its going vital !
Days back I was updating my resume, not for any job, just like that :D. And I feel like how important blog is.Say,You have written an article and you want to put the detail in resume, just give a blog link :) and its all done. Ankit one of my friends studying in IMD Gurgoan asked me the use of blog and forum. I have given him some crap points :D but I guess blog is taking vital role in our life. Its like living in a virtual world where most of the people interact with you who don't know you, never seen you. But there is something common between you and him(blog reader) and that is the content written in blog. He is reading your blog(s) because he is keen to know what you have written.
Considering all these facts I guess writing good informative blogs are important, making it as readable as possible. Person like me, who has a very weak English grammar and always has those "key words" in common speak, need to take more precaution while writing. I have seen more than 100 sites which just do analysis of blog, nothing else.
Though blogging is in its pre-matured age, I can feel its dependency in my life. Love to see people blogging, love to see techies blogging. Just feel, we are making a virtual world, containing its own social values also. Welcoming you again in the world of blog space.

A small favour can help us !
Some day back I have written a blog " We have to make a Justice !" talking about Global warming and some of the environmental problem we are facing day-by-day. I was talking this issue with one of my friends and I have urged him to do a favour for me as he is doing his MBA and he is a hosteler.
We had a small talk about how to save electricity, of course the wrong consumption of electricity. And first thing that hits my mind was my college hostel. As a hosteler, it's our right to leave the hostel room's fan, light open for 24 hours. I know, not all but 30 percent of student thinks like this and 50 percent don't think at all. If the idea strikes in the mind "oh, fan is running... lets close it", then OK, else also OK. Rest 20 percent, ya they do close. And I am thankful for their parents who have given them a good social education.
Now coming back about the favour. I asked him "Have you ever seen the special lock people put in hotel ? ". Lets see the picture.

Its a small but very very effective innovation. At the time of exit from the room, when you take the keys out from this special switch, light of the room went down. And hence never been a problem to remember " I have closed the lights or not ... ". See such a small businessman idea, because hotel is never charging you for electricity, most of the time they charge something like 1000 rupees per day. And see how this small idea saves their at least 20 percent of the electricity consumption. Now, my question why not the same stuff applied to college hostel ? At least, its not in my college hostel and what I know at least not in most of the college in India. And with this question I urged my friend to talk with college management and tell them their business benefits. As like hotels, hostel fee is also charged on year or semester basis. About the expense, I guess 300 Rs per room, that's it ! Ya, I know there are some other problem "where to dry my underwear" ! Ah, come on, give me a break.
From my blog, I am requesting all my hostel friends to think about this idea. We are ready to talk of pros and cons off course. But please do think !

Basic Education System - We are losing lots of TARE
Basic Education System in our country(I don't know about other countries) is always a debatable issue. To say basic, it is more than Vth or Xth Standard. Yes, I am talking from class I to BTech, MTech. From the early age itself, children are force to memorize things. Start seeing the world from the eyes of teachers, parents. I remember those funny days in my BTech, when we used to memorize all the things in Electronics course and my friend used to ask " Hey Vaibhav, on which question I have to write this stuff "
After sometime we start adapting this world around us. Somehow the life in making assignment, memorizing whole stuff for minor exam, major exam, minor project, major project ... went so busy that we start losing our innovative mind. Innovation is not about sitting idle, it's about sitting free, free with mind, watching things around us.
I thought of our education system hundred times. We need to respect little mind, else what is the difference left between us and machine. Re-thought after watching movie Tare Zamin Per ... excellent movie with lot to say for society, Hats off Aamir.

We have to make a Justice !
Morning of a new Year. Yesterday night I was watching the movie "An Inconvenient Truth". A documentary movie by former United States Vice President Al Gore. Amazing movie, with lot of facts, in fact lot of fearing facts. The most unfortunate fact is we know the threat but due to our busy life we never bother to think about facts like Global Warming. Yes, this is what shown in the movie Old habit + Old Technology = Predictable risk but Old habit + New Technology = Unpredictable risk.
Movie starts with very funny way "I used to be the next president of US" - Al Gore.
Global warming is one of the most important concerns in last 2-3 years. 2005 onwards, nature is playing ruthlessly with us. Hurricane Katrina, Wildfires, Coral reef Depletion and many more are the outcome. We are losing most of the species, mosquitoes are going high on the altitude. After all these, we are not reacting because nothing happening with us .. us in personnel life. Is it ? Thousands of people died at the south coastal, thousands of people died in summers due to dramatic rise in temperature. We never think all these in traveling our AC car. Though Science is doing it's duty. Technologies are changing rapidly, trying to make itself eco-friendly. But how about us ? Consumption of MWatts of Electricity in a IT Hall, just to make a Road Show, is it justified ?
How to go, what to do, how to make a difference ? Lot of questions, I was thinking whole night. We have to make a Justice, justice with self.
Happy New Year and Have a Eco Friendly 2008. Nature is most beautiful if we let it to be.

New Market - Online marriage
Online marriage is going to be one of the biggest market in upcoming days. Though there are some fraud cases but it seems to be a growing market and people find it better than the conventional tradition marriage. These big giants like shaadi.com, bharatmatrimony.com are coming up with new ideas. They are planning to collaborate with companies, the big companies which carry lot of young men and women. And off course some transparency mechanism from which people find their data safe and secured.
Definitely going to be future market and a pillar for economy. As a Engineer I feel very pleased to see the flow of data here and there. I am writing this blog, you are the reader. My personnel data is there in my profile.Say my fav. movie is Patch Adams. I get to know all those people who like Patch Adams. I have reach to their blog, I can get some information about Patch Adams. Information, better to say Knowledge follow from one place to other in some seconds.
Another example, Say Sachin is my fav. cricket player. I started with him on wiki. From there I moved to India. There I got the information that India is the world 3rd largest economy in terms of purchasing power. Thats fine, who is the first. One click, oh its US. And it keep on moving ...
Internet is prefect place for data flow, data in terms of information, in terms of knowledge, in terms of raw data. Just as a user we need to take care of certain fact, not certain only one. DON'T MISUSE IT.
Oh I guess I went out of context :)

Lovely, Horrible and Most surprising - Universe
At night, looking those lovely stars one can think of going there.A symbol of luck, a sign of love. But practically it carry an immense heat which can burn anything from man to planet. Two weeks ago, Scientists discovered a new black hole ,supposed to be largest ever(under the same category).Black Hole is again one of the most surprising entity exists in Universe.Funda behind Black Hole is very simple. Every mass has its escape velocity, say earth escape velocity is 11 km/s ( I remember those funny questions in Physics book - a boy is throwing a ball with escape velocity :)), I guess the correct line should be Shaktimaan is throwing ball with escape velocity :D ). So, anything moving faster than 11 km/s will escape the gravitation of earth and will go somewhere in space. But there are some body exists, some dense body, from which even light can't escape and those things are called "Black Hole". Black Hole is generally made up of Huge massive stars. More interesting, how to find the existence of black hole, because existence of most of the heavenly bodies are by the reflection of light but this is not the case with black holes. Yes, its difficult to find the existence of black hole. Generally scientist get it by the behaviour of stars and gases near the black hole. Gas and near by stars pulled towards the black hole.
Very surprising but have to respect the laws of nature :)

IT day in Bangalore.
Ah today is holiday in Bangalore because it's 1 Nov(Karnataka Day). What I remember is only few of our states have anything like this(State Day). 1 Nov is little special for me. Because last year 1st Nov was supposed to be my joining in Sun. Yes, I have completed one year here in Sun and in Bangalore too.
Coming back to Bangalore, IT day is going in Bangalore. Today was the last day. My roommate Prashant went for it. Met some nice people there and some people working for Quillpad. Quillpad(because English is not enough! ) is a very nice site, which gives you a notepad facility to write in your favorite language with correct spelling. Site provide some 6-7 language support. By default http://quillpad.in is http://quillpad.in/hindi/. Just type Hindi as we are typing in messenger and it will auto correct the spelling or give you a list of suitable words very similar to MS Word or OpenOffice word.
Give a try, I liked it !
I have typed this:
आज बॅंगलुर दिवस है. आज बॅंगलुर में छुट्टी है.

Panchatantra
I was searching for some of the old things I like to do. One of which was reading, not even reading watching Panchatantra ke khaani. Most of the stories are simple awesome. It is one of the oldest stories known in the literature of India, probably as old as Rig-veda. We almost lost the original script of Panchatantra. But then there was a brahmin Vishnu Sharma who had re-originated it for the dump sons of a King. As the King's Son were all useless :D, he used to pass the wisdom in the form of fables. Pancha means five and this story set illustrated five principle for success in live, that is
- Mitra Bhedha
- Mitra Laabha
- Suhrudbheda
- Vigraha
- Sandhi
means Loss of friends, Gaining friends, Conflict between friends, Separation and Union. (Not impressed with the definition of five :-| )
I got even the list of stories on net but in English, still searching for Hindi version: http://www.bharatadesam.com/literature/panchatantra_stories/tales_of_panchatantra.php

Yep !
Ah finally able to make out something. Yes, Sun Microsystems is ready to take one campus ambassador from my college, Jaypee Institute of information technology. A very nice program of Sun, where they generally select 5th sem guy and teach them Sun technologies like Java, Solaris, Appservers and many more with a stipend amount of 8000 Rs not dollars :).
Angad Singh is the 5th sem guy who got selected for this. He is happy and me too. At least got a chance to do something for my college. Still a long journey to go, still lot of roads to cover.

Professional Blogger's
Sometimes life goes very stagnant and you will not find anything to write. Anyway, reading others blog I came across a professional blogger " Digital Inspiration". This guy is writing hell lot of techniques related to software and some of the uncommon tricks. From saving YouTube videos to faxing from Skype.
Lastly I came across a good tip from " Digital Inspiration". Spam control from gmail account. At the micro level he found a good way to use gmail features. Funda is if you have a gmail account say vaibhav@gmail.com then vaibhav+blog@gmail.com is also a perfectly valid account and fortunately mails will come on vaibhav@gmail.com. So this guy speaks a good point whenever you give your gmail account on any of the site put something with + symbol. I guess the best is to put site name itself say vaibhav+pvrcinemas@gmail.com. And now whenever you will get a spam, you can easily trace out which site is creating spam for you :).
Happy way to do intelligent work :). Do visit this site if you are living with computer.

Come on make it own !!
Liked the songs of movie Awaarapan. Mahiya sounds good, sung in a good way and again a copy of Pakistani song. The live performance of this song was given by Annie, a Pakistani singer. Here is the video:
Movie considered to be one of the costly movie of Mahesh Bhatt, something around 18 crores.
It seems that Bollywood movie losing it's own meaning ... either story copied from Hollywood or from Tollywood(Telgu and Tamil Industry), same with the lyrics and music. Now even Pakistani film, i guess they call it Pollywood :)

Power to Bargain
Today I went to a local shop in JayaNagar. Saw a north-Indian girl, beautiful girl :) bargaining about the price. The total sum is coming something around 65 and she is looking for 50. Shopkeeper is not coming down to 65 and she said " bhaiya(this is the first word all northi girl speak) kananda mein baat karenge tabhi kam karoge". Finally negotiation done on 60. I guess a bad negotiation.
Ya that's true. Because of branded company in the market and buying things in mall we are losing our bargaining skills, believe me its a skill. I remember the bargaining when my mother bought a bed sheet in Delhi. The price started with 300 Rs and she got that in 20 Rs. Come on, forget about bargaining we can't think for such a big gap. Most of the time we lost in bargaining because sometime we consider time an important factor, sometime we melt down on the face and voice of the other party.. "Sir ek rupaya bhi nahi bachta hai ek item per. "
Whatever be the result I love to do it. Sometime people say .. kya ek-ek paise ke liye rote rahta hai.. but its my money why should not ?

Cheeni Kam ....
Seems everything happens like "wow". Fast moving movie with good dialogues and not so good concept. The most lively hood acting is done by a small girl suffered by Cancer in this movie. One liners are good. Tabu did a good job. Liking a 64 yr guy is non-digestible. But somewhere in the movie it was told ... not getting anyone till 34 makes her(tabu) insecure and so she is now comfortable with a 64 yr man. Maybe sounds little near to fact.
I didn't get one fact ... why in every movie when hero or heroine reaches to Delhi, the cameraman show India Gate. As shown in the movie Tabu home is somewhere near to Kutub Minar.... Sirji, I want to tell you one fact either you go from airport or from railway station you need not to cross india gate to go for Kutub Minar.
Concept behind the names like "Ghaas-Phush", "Tangri-Kabab", "Sexy" and "Buddha" sounds logical and nice. Overall if we put the mind and Indian relations one side, we will definitely going to enjoy this movie.

Nahi Jhoom sakta !!
Downloaded the songs of "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom", seems like timepass songs. Abhishek and Amitabh need some change in looks. I don't think Amitabh is going to remove his white french cut now. Anyway he is the best and going to be the best for next 1-2 years.

Finally ...
Finally I did it !!! After a lot of hectic job I am able to remove Microsoft Vista from my system. Oh pretty pathetic, I almost tried almost all the combination with vista. Vista- Solaris, Solaris-Vista, Vista-XP, Vista-Linux. At last I get rid of that buggy UI and I am able to install my VPN. Don't know what happened to these big companies like HP or Dell. "We recommend vista for this notebook", who the hell you are to recommend me that which OS i will install and which I will not. From last 3 days I was struggling for drivers. But now the laptop is in OK condition at least I can listen music, do some basic work. Still I am struggling for some drivers.
Thanks to all my office-mates who helped me so much.

Tough life - no its not mine !!
Being a "so called" software engineer, most of my time goes with software engineers. Discussion starts with "screwed up personal life" and ends with some technical discussions. But this time its not the same, because the person speaking in front of me was not a Software Engineer. My school friend Anurag is pursuing PG- Child Specialist. A working hour of 9 AM to 8 PM and then 8 PM -9PM for dinner and then 9PM to 8AM. So 22 hours of business with children.
"Vaibhav, you never see a happy Doctor of age more than 30-35 .... till this age of life we will see everything so horrible, so panic that we cant smile even if we want. If something even happen bad with any child, that face will keep coming in mind and you will feel helpless, restless." Anurag said.
Yes that's why we compare Doctor with God. Life always looks easy in other tray, but its not.

Why we are not innovative ?
"If you see the Indian market, there is no innovation in compare to other part of world. World know us a good guy in quality, testing or little of development. But we are lacking badly in innovation" .... I was just hearing the person sitting near to me.
Yes, I am completely agree with the fact that Indian IT market lags in innovation. My mind said why not lets find the reason for it. There can be many but I got the valid reason.
According to me, Innovation demands capability(my personal opinion). Capability not only in terms of thinking power but in terms of doing power as well. The new guys, the fresh guys have a good amount of thinking power but not a good amount of doing power, off course that comes with age and maturity(not mandatory :) ).Indian IT market are basically handled by some big gaint like Infy, TCS, Wipro, Satyman .. so called the IT giants in india. And if you realize the trend after 5-6 years people here willing to get a position of so called Team Leader or Project Leader. They are not willing, they get as well. And in the consecutive 5-6 years, Project Manager. In this time spam of 8-10 years, they are really building there capabilities, which suddenly go to nowhere becasue they get a good seperate room, 10-20 fellows who works under them and off course a charming salary. Not only that, its a high time to manage people, project and seniors as well.
So, an average life of programmer generally comes down to 10-12 years, where as in other country its around 20-25 years. So, the gray part when we become enough capable to innovate something, we are actually out of business.
A fresh person innovation is like a water bubble, which generally burst with little of trouble. Where as a capable person(not a, but some) innovation leads to a revolution. Innovation is not only about thinking big, its about materializing that big thing.

Extreme Expressions
Extreme Expressions mean to say when you are very happy or very sad or very angry or ... . Most of the time we share such situations. Happiness, we enjoy with friends, family. Sadness, we are looking someone who can share it. Angry ... oh this is the most dangerous one, we literally kill the share-holder(s). But I have a different viewpoint on this. Enjoy these situations alone for sometime and then share it with your be lovers. Feel the happiness, its a symbol of success which you are trying to get. Give yourself a minute and think why I am sad ? how to get rid of it ? and you will get the solution in the next minute. Angry ... ah being alone is very important. Cool down the head and then go for the normal work or directly throw your anger on the person who put you into this situation(dhisum-dhisum).

No Title...
We all are SUPERMAN in self. Ya, not joking. Thinking of high responsibility and about those people who are dependent on us, ah we think so. Listening walkman and not only listening, singing with it and thinking that we are also singing like the real singer. Playing cricket with tennis ball and comparing the shot with Sachin Shot and many more. There is something inside us which always tell our-self that you are doing the best job. I guess I am bit immature but my thinking says everyone get such a feeling. From positive side, its something which makes us happy and from negative side, its something which is far from truth.

The wow ends now ...
Ya its all about new OS released by Bill Gates and the party - Vista with the tag " The Wow starts now" and I can't believe that how such a buggy OS comes into the market. I was just looking where in last 5 yrs MS engineers put their mind. GUI seems to be pretty OK, with lot of unusual features. Running any exe file, going into control panel asks user permission(what the hack this is) with two flashy screen change. And lastly it sucks me when I was trying to install VPN so that I can look some of my office work. VPN didnt get installed, no problem, but it even killed the normal internet connection as well. IE7 which display a big message "FRAUD MONITORING IS ON" gives you a feeling that you are on a secret mission.
I am all set for Widnwos XP or Solaris on my system but just thinking that why I have invested(wasted is a proper word) 5-6K for Vista. Hoping that MS will come with some required updates soon(Please don't charge for that).

Finally Apple decided to go greener !!
Ah so here goes the good news. Apple has declared a phase out of the worst chemicals in its product range, Brominated Fire Retardants (BFRs) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) by 2008.
Greenpeace force Apple to take such an action. I am a great fan of apple product but regret to see the e-waste mountains in Asian countries. I guess Indian Market should be one the target markets for products like IPod and MacBook and Steve has to realise this.
Steve said "Today is the first time we have openly discussed our plans to become a greener Apple. It will not be the last." So cheers.

Here it goes ... !
At last it started ... yes RAIN :) Yesterday it was rain in Bangalore and its my first. I guess the first rain of the season. With first rain, I remember two completely different school of talks. Old man's talk( I heard it from my mom) says that first rain is good for skin disease and it has the capability to cure more or less all the skin disease. According to their findings there is a layer in sky which get cleared with first rain and that layer has some composition, good for health. Whereas the second school of science say never avail first rain because it contains all dust and insects. Their findings say with first rain all dust and insects in air get removed.
There are very few concept where our mythology(the true one, not fake one) intersect with science. Whatever be it is ... first rain is always beautiful and more if you waited for it :)

This is how it works ...
Sometime things inspire to move forward. Last weekend Ankur told me to see one news in paper. It was all about a child who lost his one leg in an accident just before a cricket match. Artificial legs cost something around 1.2 lakhs. Via Newspaper Hospital request ppl to come forward and make some donation. With Ankur, I went to hospital, we did what we can ! Just praying things go fine with this little chap. And next day we got this good news, they were able to manage the amount.
Though things are not easy for this little boy, but he has to make it. We never get what we want but still we live a happy life, this is how it works.

Make it possible for 3rd eye !
Yesterday Ankur invited me to read his blog. A blog on "Blind Programmers and Users". Before reading, I depicted a different meaning of Blind Programmer, i thought its someone who codes blindly :). But its something else. It gives a different domain to think how blind people (can)use computer or rather our application. Can they use it ? Can they interpret it into their 3rd eye ? Can they play with some of the computer apps ?
No idea at all ! I never thought for it before and so i decided to spend some of my time to search what applications are developed for them. Some of the software's even I can think of like creating sound pattern with Morse code.
Searching on google, i came across a very nice and i will say a very simple software " Desktop Icon Reader". What this software do is that it attach a song file to every icon on desktop and even giving you the facility to record that sound file, so that you can give it a logical meaning. Mouse movement just play that sound. Nicely written by a 26 yr guy(better to say a computer scientist :) ).
See the baseline is very clear, computer screen is not going to provide something like "touch and feel". So we have to constrain application in the range of listening and speaking. Something we can simulate on listening like this Icon Reader and some other we can simulate on speaking like text generator via sound.
I was thinking of an application where i can provide them the facility to read a web page. Really no idea how to do but I guess languages like JS gives me the facility to read string over mouse by some API's like onMouseMove or onMouseClick and then if we are able to convert that string into a voice form! I guess it should be better fit in a browser property rather than a 3rd party application because the browser code has much more control on web page content. Also, we have one constraint, we can store a finite set of voice corresponding to every word. So, its the browser responsibility to convert a normal web page into a blind-friendly web page where we have a finite(mean to say less) number of words. Don't know how to handle names and all.
Any suggestions :)

11 players, half a billion coach
India is out of the World Cup(news channels are using a sophisticated word "virtually out"). Performance of the team is not very good, but not as bad as covered by most of our News channel. If you put any news channel you will definite heard some words like "Janta ke adalat", "Future of indian team","who is the new captain" and all rubbish.
The problem is old, as said by my friend, in India there are 11 players and half a billion coach. That's true !! Everyone is ready to pass their expert comments... I guess even I :). And most of us like cricketers not cricket(I am not in this list :D).
Hope things will go fine .

You always get things to laugh
I am not anti-Internet Explorer user, but most of time I love to use Mozilla. It gives me the facility to restore the session and so perfect for my "hanging" system. Look at the message on the home page of Mozilla(so funny).
Hey!
Your copy of Mozilla is more than four weeks old. Unless you are using the latest milestone build, bug reports get rapidly less useful the older your copy is.
So if you're not running the latest milestone, we could use your help testing either that or the latest nightly build. (Be warned that nightly builds are development software, and there is no guarantee that they won't fry your processor, insult your mother, or cause you to break out in a nasty rash.)
Congratulations!
You've downloaded (or compiled) a copy of Mozilla. This means that you've volunteered to become part of the Mozilla testing community. (If that doesn't sound like something you meant to do, you might be better off with one of our stable releases.)
I can't stop my laugh !! Can you ?

Madhubani painting - depict nature !
It was a chat going on at 11.30 night with my office team members. Since the team is dominated with Bihari people in number, often the discussion comes on Bihar and it goes through a cycle of corruption, Laloo. So what's good ?
I don't have too much. But there is something which is related to me, my earth, to my birth-my village. My village is next to Madhubani. Most of us heard the name Madhubani, the literal meaning is forests of honey(madhu-bani) because of its great painting, often called Mithila painting. Mithila is our native language, though i speak less but its the sweetest i ever heard. Mithila painting is one of the splendid paintings ever done in the history of human culture.

Wiki page is telling me, this style of painting originated at the time of the Ramayana, when King Janak commissioned artists to do paintings at the time of marriage of his daughter, Sita, to Hindu God Lord Ram.
And here goes the worst part... We are selling Mithila painting in 20-30 Rs to some local Bihari broker. He in turns sell it to some big brokers into 3000-4000 Rs and finally it is imported to US and other nations costs in lakhs.
Just checking the cost of one simple painting in $$$$'s
Waiting for next visit to my village, I will also make a collection of them :)

My Last Trip !
From last couple of weeks, didn't get anything to blog about. By the way, Holi week we had a trip of Belur. Its a nice place and the temple is one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture.
Enjoy with some of the Sculpture @ http://picasaweb.google.com/vaibhav.kumar/Fine_Arts
Else nothing great to say about the trip.

Give me something good !!
Ah, again I need to move my home management system(ghar_ka_hisab). In morning, we are updating our expenses in thinkfree excel sheet(thinkfree.com) and got a critical bug. This bug seems to be in logic part because its not calculating the expenses properly.
filemasterno=678659&filekey=lj0jjrlbw0 , The total should be equal and difference should be 0.)
I used to use openoffice for Home Management expenses, but now my system become older and can leave me anytime,so we decided to move on network. Before using thinkfree, I have started using Google spreadsheet, but that was completely a bad product implemented(not designed) by Google. After looking at Abhishek's blog and a great trust shown by Ankur, we decided to move on to ThinkFree. But :(, I am searching for the next, which can handle by complex calculations >>> ANY IDEA !

Diversity in Unity !!!
Baand is over in Karnataka. As covered by Times of India, it was a complete baand. Complete in the sense, all flights get canceled, nothing on the road, all shops shutter down. I never see a baand effective like this. As I am a Bihari and baand is a common thing in Bihar, it touches people's life but it never hinders it. Here it seems, its not hindering, its stopping people's life.
I never had state cohesion and may be this is the reason I am in Bangalore. But its regret to see that local people force you to think it's not your state, never matter it may be your country. Ankur best says" It's not looking Unity in diversity, its looking Diversity in Unity".

Never Ending Debates ….
Some issues in our country are always open for discussion because in short term(2-3 years) it will not get a result(maybe my short term is small):
1. Indo-Pak Relationship
2. Sachin's Batting
3. Performance of Indian Cricket Team
4. Kavari Water Dispute.
5. ............................
6. ............................
7. ............................
and I start finding such issues, believe me the list in long :). Some topics which are in my control, I stopped talking!

What about Technology !!
What you say about Technology? Everyone makes their own definition. According to me "Implementation of Knowledge is Technology" and it should not be bounded with Science.
Few days back we were going to Mangalore. Arguing something with Autowala, I told Ankur "Think if this autowala has a touch screen and a GPS with a small application. This application tells our current position and provides a navigation option from which we can tell the final destination. Also, It go ahead and show the shortest path between our "Point of Interest" and also calculate the meter-charge(of course there should be something additional for traffic and all). No fraud, No route-tension, no money issue :).

Long Life !
Rarely it happens that electronic devices have long life, but sometime it happens. I remember one of my watches, now I have given it to my dad(this is called reverse tradition :D), in which the battery is running from last 6-7 years. Difficult to believe but yes, its true. I am just wondering, will these type of devices also go in the list of defective device :).
I love to have electronic gadgets here and their with me. Sometimes it happen that one gadget can do more than what it should and can be seen as a replacement of others. Like Nokia N70 can be used in place of a iPOD, a camera and a phone off course. Ya true, but it can never fulfill the charm of those individuals, having a camera in hand and iPOD earphones provide a different range of feeling. Is not so ?
Once again cheers for Team India(I love to say Team India, rather than Indian Team) :D ... Hu ha India :)

wEEkEnD
Again a weekend with some nice movies. Saturday started with Blood Diamond. Story of a farmer, a smuggler and a priceless diamond. I can’t rate the actor or actress. All (Leonardo, Djimon, Jennifer) are on absolute scale of 10 out of 10. I can rate the movie, yep , 4 + .
After a series of bollywood crap movies, I don't have any more faith and money to go and see it in hall. But after a long time, people admired "Guru" so we(me and Ankur) decided to have it on my computer. Yes a pretty good movie with strong dialogues and some good performances. Abhishek is fine followed by Muthun da and Ash. Once again the best part goes with Mani Ratnam “paakata nahi hai”
Yes forget to share a good news, Dada did it :D

Lets go to Mac'D
Last week Ankur surprised me with something. It was all about a movie "Super Size Me".Super Size Me is a 2004 documentary film, directed by, produced by and written by Morgan Spurlock, an American independent filmmaker. He did a experiment on McDonald's Fast Foods. 30 days continuously he kept on eating McDonald's Food and the result was ....... see from your eyes :)
Before launching this experiment, Spurlock, age 33, was healthy and slim, with a body weight of 185.5 lb (84.1 kg). (Spurlock is 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall.) After thirty days, he gained 24.5 lb (11.1 kg), a 13% body mass increase, and his Body Mass Index raised from 23.2 (within the 'healthy' range of 19-25) to 27 ('overweight'). He also experienced mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and nearly catastrophic liver damage. It took Spurlock fourteen months to lose the weight he gained.
After reading this, we became more enthusiastic to see some of the videos. We came across 2 deadly videos. One was his experiment on McDonald's Burgers and French Fries. Some hidden truth that we must know:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDhMfl0WdBU (4 min)
and other on the school children, I can say a test on their IQ :) (A shocking one)

Just see the two videos and tell me when we are going McDonald's next time :D

I will come up again !
Yet another silent day ...
I am a person who likes laughing, talking and the most shouting with others. But a sudden change ... in place, office and of course in mentality force me to stay silent. Anyway I never have been creative silence, I simply hate silence :)

GoodBye Coke !
Yes, it's time to say GoodBye to Coke. From Yesterday, I left drinking all the carbonated soft drinks like Coca-cola, Thumbs-up(again a coke product), Pepsi, Mirinda, Dew, Spirit and bla bla !! At least we all can try to minimize the intake, if we can't stop.

Sayeen Itna Deejiye, Ja Mein Kutumb Samaye ...
Today was one of the most boring days of my life. Diwali is about to come and I am not in my home. Here in Mumbai also, I am alone :(.
Literally no work ... first time it happen when I don’t want to read anything. Watching TV and doing net are the two things and only things that I can do.
Suddenly I saw some thing surprising on Star Gold... Hey ... He is Anand Kumar, my Math’s Teacher when I used to take classes for IIT. How come he is on Star TV. I saw the whole clip. "Rang de Basanti.. Special Contribution". He is selecting 30 student and there whole IIT education is free from his side. Year 2006, 28 out of 30 is able to clear IIT JEE.
More or less 1000 Rs per month per student so 30000 for 30 student in a month.. quite a big amount.
Nice to see my Sir back !! Hope I will also contribute something in it and why not.
Sayeen Itna Deejiye, Ja Mein Kutumb Samaye
Main Bhi Bhookha Na Rahun, Sadhu Na Bhookha Jaye
What to do with the rest !!

Meaning keeps on changing ...
One day, long back I told my bhaiya .."Today school is close, we will not go today". He asked me "How you get to know" . I get to know from someone.. I replied.
He told me " Dheko, seeing is believing, so we will not take decision only by listening someone, we need to go and check it out from our own eyes".
Today I remembered it suddenly because of this:
Don't believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding. Find out what you want to know, and you'll see the way to fly.
Meaning keep on changing as we grow :)

Hmmm ...
Me and Vamsi(my friend) waiting that day for the bus. There are two ways to go, either take 498 or take 524. 498, you will get seat but not in 524. We were in hurry, and I told him... See Vamsi next bus will be 498 on this stop. Semi-fortunatly it was 524. He replied " God never give what we desire, they give us what we need"
Is it so ?
Is it so ?

Lage Raho MunaBhai ..
Movie bole to ekdum mast, rapcik piece baanale hai ! Director ne ekdum mast kaam kaiyla hai, koi maagajmaari ka kaam nahi.
Aapna Sanjay, Aarsad sub ne ekdum fulltu acting karela hai !
Being all the things, the greatest of this movie is that it shows a real, better say, a practical picture of Gandhi ji !

Tension, Angriness and Work
Tension and Angriness are the two common things we encountered during work and more during interaction of work. It’s always happening that we want X from a person and that person delivers us Y. We as a human have the tendency to do wrong things or in positive sense we always have the space to improve :)
Work – It has it own funda. It will happen in any case just we need to find the solution. We have two cases, either we will break the problem or problem will break us. Solution is their, that’s dead sure, deciding factor is time. A time better call it a threshold time after which problem starts breaking us.
One year back, I was a person whose this threshold time was very less. I was trying to solve problem for at max 10 minutes or so, after that I assumed that I can’t solve this problem and let me take help of other.
I learnt, learnt with my friend “time” how to struggle with a problem. Break it – else you are going to be the victim. Now my pet favorite dialog “fight maar yaar, kya kar raha hai !! fight maar !! problem solve hona he hai, agar nahi hua to samajh le tere problem he nahi hai ”
Just a wish from the God that they give us the power to say “Listen my friend PROBLEM, you are not a problem for me” :D

If I am in place of you... !!
If I am in place of you... !!
Once I need to deliver a presentation near a diverse audience. I was bit
confused about my preparation for the presentation because people from
functional expert to technical experts are there.
What to do ... What to do .. !! I asked the person setting next to me.
He told me " common make a good presentation " and how to do that...??"
He told me " common make a good presentation " and how to do that...??"
If you are in place of Audience what you are expecting from the presenter, make that, thats it"
Believe me this solves my problem .. And fortunately I am able to deliver a good presentation.
Believe me this solves my problem .. And fortunately I am able to deliver a good presentation.
I went to thanks that guy. He replied me back " I forget to tell one more aspect of it, not only presentation, anytime in life if you come across such problem, use the same rule"
It helped me a lot, at least when I am underestimating or overestimating someone.
From our eyes, the person sitting next to us is always fool, but see from his eyes , one can realize that he is accomplishing more tough job than us.
Life is not about criticizing others, its about learning and unlearning !

1.5 years of my blog space ..
My blog space crossed 1.5 years of it's birth :) ...
I started it when I was on the verge of leaving my college... Thought of a common platform from which I can share my ideas or views. That is a different issue that I don't have any ideas and if I have then their is noone to read it :D
Yesterday, I watched one more telugu movie Gazini, I want to see this movie from last some month, in hyderabad I didn't get the CD but in mumbai I got it. Again, a awesome Tamil make !How a short memory person manage life. Carrying the photo and address of his own home. Writing on Freeze, that this is freeze and this for drinking and for foods, photo of persons "My Friend", "Not my friend". I heard that this movie is coming in hindi soon, Aamir Khan as Actor in place of Surya and Asin as Actress(same). Really a tough time for Aamir if he is playing this role , in Tamil & Telugu it was done by Surya and acting was awesome.
Have a nice weekend :)

Something that motivates me ...
Its your good time that works as your worst time in your bad time. But something are always there to motivate you.
That day I was coming home quite early, i guess around 7.00 PM. I saw a 10year old child solding peanuts(mungfali) near the bus stop.I was hungry and mungfali i can eat even i am not hungry. I told him to give me mungfali of Rs 5 and he within some seconds gave me 3 packs, eachpacks cost Rs2 but on Rs5 you will get some discount.I remembered that I saw this the same child when i was coming at 10.00 oreven at 12.00.
I just asked him " kab thak rahte ho"
He told me "bhaiya, 12.30 ke baad jane ka hota hai" and this asking-answering session went little long.
I asked "Accha, aane ka kab hota hai "
"Aane ke to 5.30-6 PM ka he hota hai " he repiled
" Morning time mein kya karte ho " further i asked.
" bhaiya, morning time mein school jaane ka hota hai and fir 4.30 sehomework karne ke hota hai " he repiled happy.
I asked " maa, babuji kya karte hai ".
He told me " babuji bagal wale crossing per hai, maa nahi hai "
"bhai, crossing and bus stand per baatao to mungfali sabse jada bikte hai "he further added.
"hmm, kitna kaama lete ho" I asked again."
Aapna school ka copy-kitab and fees ho jate hai, babuji ghar chalte hai"quite happily he repiled.
"bhaiya, babuji bolte hai ke acha se padhi karo to job mil jata hai, aapcomputer chalte ho" he repiled and asked me.
"haan, or kon hai ghar mein " i also repiled and asked."ye Golu hai, bhai hai mera abhi kuch nahi karte, agle saal se padhi karna surru karega or mumgfali beechna bhi, meere or babuji ke paise se isske padhi nahi ho sakte hai" .I saw his brother right near him, quite small and seeing all the people here and their who were coming for taking mungfali.
I just thought that when I had thought that why i am studying, when i had thought that I need a job ! I guess in my second last sememster of my B.Tech when companies were coming for placement. And see this child, who setup his future I guess 12-13 years before than me. Working hard for his survival and his survival is not food and a small home, he wants to be a well educated person.I work for my future, he defines his future. I am moving with the time, time is already with him.

Time ... Back and Forth !
In the last 9 months, Mumbai is going to be my 6th city for stay consecutively after Noida, Delhi, Patna, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad. And not only that Maharashtra is going to be the 6th state as well.
19 years back, I was in Mumbai! That time, I was in nursery. My first and the last second prize I got their in my school. I don't remember but my mom told me that they asked you to write A,B,C,D ... ! And you wrote it correctly and you got the second position because your handwriting was not good :) ". What I remember my school was one road cross to my home, still my dad came with me, I was Kid na :D
When I was in class I, Dad got transferred to Patna and we were back to Patna, my hometown after 4 years of stay in mumbai, so I think I don't have any problem even this time because I already have 4 years of WorkX in mumbai :).
Time pulls us to go forward, but it seems that I am going back to my olden time. Just wishing from God, that I have the same time what I had, of course will miss my parents, but will enjoy with friends.
Work .. ya heard going to be a tough one, but who cares of it. Anyway these days company wants people not to behave like human but to behave like Robot, in terms of work and also in terms of intelligence.

Fifa .. :)
When you are born, you cried, and the world rejoices. Live in such a manner that when you die, you rejoice and the world cries ~Kabir.
I really get enjoyed when I saw that WikiQuote of the day was one written by Kabir. Kabir (also Kabira,1440 - 1518) was an Indian mystic who preached an ideal of seeing all of humanity as one. He was known to be a weaver and later became famed for scorning religious affiliation. His philosophies and ideas of loving devotion to God are expressed in metaphor and language from both the Hindu Vedanta and Bhakti streams and Muslim Sufi ideals, using vernacular Hindi. Kabir is also considered one of the early northern India Sants. He was initiated by Ramananda.
So, its the time to rejoice with Fifa World Cup. I got a very nice article from Wikipedia on Fifa.
The FIFA World Cup is the most important competition in international football. The world's most representative team sport event, the World Cup is contested by the men's national football teams of Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) (the sport's largest governing body) member nations. The championship has been awarded every four years since the first tournament in 1930 (except in 1942 and 1946 due to World War II). However, it is more of an ongoing event as the qualifying rounds of the competition take place over the three years preceding the final rounds. In 1991, FIFA added a separate Women's World Cup. The men's final tournament phase involves 32 national teams competing over a four-week period in a previously nominated host nation, with these games making it the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world. In the 17 tournaments held, only seven nations have ever won the World Cup Finals. Brazil is the current holder, as well as the most successful World Cup team, having won the tournament five times, while Germany and Italy follow with three titles each. The next World Cup finals will begin in Germany on June 9, and will continue until July 9, 2006.
Liked it !!! Yeeess I know !! :)

Indian Constitution Ver 2.0
Yes, it's the time to now revise the Indian constitution. If not wrong, let me put an analogy, Indian Constitution is like writing requirement of software. And according to time, need changes demand changes. Some big loops, some big bugs left when it was created in 1950. Instead of patching it, our politicians are using it for their name!
Not only that, some constitution articles are not defined objectively and different people are assigning it a different meaning and using it for their own good. Ex: the language of the amendment does not talk about reservations, the language talks about any provision by law for advancement of socially and educationally backward classes. What is this ANY?
Our, so nice, politician made this ANY Reservation, tomorrow some new politician will make this ANY something else, may be kill all the people who not falls in the criteria of "socially and educationally backward classes", this is also a damn good idea for their development.
Chief ministers like Rabi Devi and Mayawati, how possible! Which rule of constitution gives them the authority to rule a state? If I am not wrong this Indian Constitution bypasses such type of blunder. Why the rules are not so hard! Why can't we make the rules that no one below graduate can become, what become can’t even eligible for MLA, MP or if so, a special panel will check them? WHY NOT?
What will happen if doctors of AIIMS and students of IIT will go on strike protesting against reservation? I don't know what's going on in our country. But we all can feel that spark, a spark that has taken place somewhere and if change will not come soon, FIRE will burn our country.
Sitting in an AC room and writing blogs like that, will not serve our purpose, lets see what I can do for my nation. Not even too much, I can make things deltaX better.
Time for RRDB ... Real Rang De Basanti.

Aparichit - The Stranger
Awesome movie! It will give you everything what you want from a movie - action, story, lesson, acting!
Ambi Ramanujam is a fastidious lawyer trying hard to impose rules at every step. He keep on seeing the world around him, no one is following rules and laws. He just get frustrate and keep on shouting, nothing else he can do!
And here comes Aparichit, second personality of the same man Ambi. He has a website aparichit.com. On which people can mail their problem and Aparichit decide the judgment - only one - death.
Breaking rule is not buying a banyan - small, medium, large. It’s all very large and death is the only replacement.
Other side of the movie, Ambi loves Nandini (hey she is really cute) but Nandini don't want to marry a person - who is a complaint box. And Ambi disorder ness creates a third personality - Remo, a cool stylish man!
Aparichit is killing people according to the rules what written in mythology (Sanskrit terms are used for that), the rules that are followed by God.
Nandini get to know about his multiple personality when she tries to buy a land without proper document and Aparichit tries to kill her.
Doctor’s medical checkup puts the story in flashback when his sister gets killed because of electricity wire in water and his father lost the case! According to his father, everyone should be punished - one who made the road, electrician, who passes the tender, everyone!
And this is the reason for Ambi's multiple disorder ness. Remo personality is removed by Nandini telling him that he loves Ambi only. But Aparichit is still there.
Court decided to put Ambi in mental hospital and doctor told that if he will behave properly till 2 years, he will be free. No Aparichit till 2 years and Ambi become normal, he came out from the hospital, but he is still Aparichit.... and this is the end.
Awesome acting, proper Action stunt, perfect Animation and good dressing! I like to see Part-2. From ending it seems there should be a PART 2 of the movie.
The social lesson is great - if you are stealing 5 paisa it's a big crime, because you are doing it with 5 crore people.
Hindi dubbing is really bad :(.

Software Industry and Overtime
No one get surprise by seeing this ! Overtime is a very common "used" word in Software Industry.
Up to many extend, one's appraisal and future is dependent to this overtime. I don't know why, but all the senior person want his/her subordinates to do overtime. It's like someone greatest appreciation "I had worked till 12.00 PM yesterday"
Life is simple, but we want it to be more complex. Frankly speaking if I decide to finish the work before 6.00 PM, I do it in any cost except that your day is bad or some mishappening occurs with you, your work.
This trend originates from US, UK client where the daytime is 360 degree to ours, and so for maintenance or online support project you have to be available there at night. But trend converted into craze and craze converted into habit.
How come we forget that God created us as human. Health, family relationship is something for us.
Just think that "Is it necessary to stay their in office, Is someone is not waiting for you their in home, Is not you love to see sunset and sunrise ?"

Keep on Playing ...
Yo Man ! I heard a good news yesterday.
TT Table is now available in our new office. For playing that, now I don't have to go to main office.
I am crazy about playing, not only TT, any game. In college time, I started playing badminton at 5.00 PM and continuously play till the watchman wala didn't force me to go :).
Same was the case when I was in school. Sometimes, we missed 1-2 periods and kept on playing Football.
I remember one instance, there was a teacher name S.D.Singh. He was our math teacher - good, tall, intelligent and too strict :( .
Once we bunked his class because the match was on draw position and we didn't want to leave the match without winning and I guess same was the thought of opponent. In the meantime, we got a call that COME COME S.D.SINGH was calling you all ... Oh God !! We did a blunder, but lets go !!
We went to class, with shirt out, hair down, and lots of sweat on face, hands. He saw all and said " Master, what you all are playing" . "Football Sir !!". "Hmm, its good for health, carry on. Now first let me finish the class, then go for football" he smiled.
That was a surprise. And great people mostly give surprises :)

This is forward ...
Emails, now days become one of the integral part of our life. Most of the business deals are done on it. And one thing I can say this is the EMAIL POWER because of which you can see most of the software industry neat and clean. But the real story begins from here >>
One more "most usable" form of Email: FORWARD mails.
And if I am not wrong then this ratio is correct:
Useful / Forwards = 0.1
And people are passing on and on and on those crap mail to all, they never bother to even read it before forwarding it.
I will tell you some funny instances of my last 3 days archive:
1. There is a bug found in Linux/Unix OS, writing this on terminal: "echo '82 43/25 43+65P80P82P73P76P32P70P79P79P76P10P' dc" will show the password of User and this is found by a 9 year old boy.
Even a first year B.Tech computer student can tell: 65P80P82P73P76P32P70P79P79P76P10P this is the ASCII form of APRIL FOOL! And even it skipped with mind, everyone know the implication of such a bug (if found) ... it will be the hottest news in any media.
2. Find this Bug in Nokia, Samsung and LG phones
Do you know your handset does not check the whole number you dial? It checks only last 8 digits.
Check to be done:
Take one number already stored in your mobile phone Example:
XX87654321...call a number putting any number instead of XX ...
...this will display the same name stored in your phone.
Now this funny guy don't know that last 8 digit is sufficient for a number to be unique, if they start checking all, how come call for +91 and 0 goes to same place.
3. Person Mr. X suffers from Lung cancer need his mail to forward to everyone. The same mail I guess I got in year 2002.
4. Person Mr. Y needs blood for his daughter, please send this mail to all, so that whole JAANTA can help him.
5. Some are dangerous.. if you will not send this mail to 10 ppl, something going to happen very bad with you.
We call our self-educated ppl and mentioned above are all examples of that.
I just want to tell these so called HIGH PROFILE ppl :
Don’t waste your time in forwarding these type of mails, don’t waste JAANTA time in reading these types of mails. .. And of course don’t waste my time by forcing me to write such blogs

Yesterday Once more ..
Oo.. Listen the songs of Funaa, its comci-comca (so-so)
When I came here in hyderabad, I was unable to think that why ppl here are so crazy about movies. After watching many telugu movie, you can defiantly tell that there story scripts are much better than Bollywood movies, on an average.
Not only that you can get a better taste of song, dance and comedy.
Last weekend i saw the movie "36 China Town", CRAPP !! ... The story is not even enough for a 30 min TV serial. After coming outside my friend asked me " Had you watched the movie "JewelThief" ...
It was a movie I guess of 60's .. No special effect facilities were at that time .... still one can see the beauty of the movie.
Remembering the song " Yesterday Once more ... " :)

Cooking ... hmmm
I get prepared myself for cooking in home :). I bought everything cooker, plates, bla .. bla yesterday.
This is a new cultural shift I saw from olden time to new time. Most of the young generation ppl don’t know cooking... cooking is far, even they don’t know making tea... and surprisingly they feel themselves very great specially girls, they feel that they are not those girls who spent time in kitchen, they are modern. I don’t want to make any comment but I guess this is a stupid feeling/thinking they have!
These things, according to me, all ppl have to know, irrespective of the fact that they are boys or girls. I start cooking at an age of 12 or so. And from that time, I always used to help my mom in kitchen. Of course, no one is forcing me to do so, but this would give me a good time to take rest and talk in family.
My mother never gets hesitated that what my son will eat if I go to some place. She knows that he will make much better than what I ate daily: P
Today it’s the time to make Rajmaaaaaaaa :)

It happens ..
Sometime it happens that ...we feel someone need our help and we are well capable of doing it but something stops.
I don’t know .. but it happens with me many time....
Some day back, one person came out from the auto, he need change money. I had, but he didn't ask from me... I am on the verge of saying .. I have !! He moved on, went to shop, then next shop and then next.. .
2-3 back, I was coming to Delhi from train. One girl(may be lady) didn’t get the confirmed sit and she went to general compartment. Life is like HELL in general compartment.. and on that she was a lady. Again I was on the verge to say … before she left.
I don’t know .. but this is not selfishness.. but something .. else...

You want & ...
Yesterday, I saw lots of movie. Mr. & Mrs. Smith, didn't feel a great one!!. After that 'Tagore' a telgu movie.. The story part is nice one!! Rest actions are like what we expect from AP directors.
I meet yesterday one person, via messenger. That guy is sun certified with the score of 95 %. From my last 3 months of preparation, i can say its diff. to get such a high score, and the bad part, he is still seeking for a job desperately. He is a teacher (Lecturer) and wants to leave that job and want to join S/W field.
Just opposite to me!! I want to leave this field and want to become a teacher... :)
You want & you get, that is LUCK
You want & you wait, that is TIME
You want & you compromise, that is LIFE
You want & you don't compromise, that is SUCCESS.

Opera office in India...SOON
In Feb, Jon S. von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software, was on a flying tour of Asian Country. He decided to open a Opera office in India most probably he is going to place a office in Chandigarh.
He sees Opera as number three with Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) and Firefox positioned at number one and two spots respectively. But I personally feel Opera much better than FireFox.
I dont know which quality of FireFox ppl like so much.
Asking about indian market ... "Here developer are more than user " .. funny one !!!Hope so, soon we will see a Opera office in India .. as well.

Yesterday, I saw a telgu movie 'Aarya', the caption is very nice - feel my love -.It about one sided love. Heroin start loving a person(Side-hero) becasue he blackmailed her that if you not commit then I will do suicide. And our Hero love that girl but girl don't have any interest in Hero. One friends of Heroin asked the Hero that someone else is loving her. Hero asked "You love TajMahal, yess.. I also love it, then how you loving it".And ended with the old indian style- HAPPY ending.Excellent dancing by Hero !! A good timepass.
And the most interesting fact is that 3 person are sitting near me to explain that movie :).

Days are as usual ...
Most of the time, I personally feel that human life consist of lots of repeatations. Most of the time we do what we know, and not only that most of the time ppl force us to do what we know. Most of the senoir level ppl call it expertise, but according to me its killing the charm of life. Mind become dull... and stop thinking, better say innovating.
Innovaiton is a process that generates from idleness :) , I guess i am making myself right.
Day started as it should ...
Today we have to make the same funny assignment of ATM system, not exactly the same something similar to that.
The assignment was supposed to make in a gp. of 3, i guess one is more than enought for it.
Went training center, the old gold lecture got started, .................. before that one of the my friends ask me for assignment, I gave her and its all on her what she want to do with that. She I guess copy it, hardly a matter !!!!
But it matters, if I consider a part of a team who did a effort to make it possible and hence its not my property.
One of my team mate and my friend as well Jenis ...hmmm seems bit angry and yes he is RIGHT. why should not he be !!!!
But we want one think that it hardly matters about the creditabilty but the person who make a alias should at least understand it.
Thinking of the solution, how to tackle with this situation... giving a direct answer .. NO I WILL NOT GIVE YOU .. is no where a solution.
So, I asked one of my friend Abhishek, hey help me out!!!!!!!!!!!! He gave me a .... simple and intellegent answer:
Say her ...
We always have to make decision between
what is easy and what is correct...
